On the 3rd day of Eid, PTM Germany convened a significant Eid gathering titled “Eid with PTM” in Frankfurt, the capital city of Germany. The event saw enthusiastic participation from Pashtun Afghans residing across Germany & Europe. The primary aim was to foster unity among the Afghan diaspora and newly arrived Afghans in Germany, while also imparting knowledge about their culture, history, and national heroes to the younger generation.
The gathering comprised three segments: an academic discourse, musical performances, and cultural presentations including the Pashtun national anthem. Esteemed speakers such as human rights activist Mrs. Claudia Widlish, former PTM leader Mr. Advocate Safdar Khan, Maulvi Rehmatullah Andar, legal committee head of PTM Germany Advocate Mrs. Gulalai Mamouzai, Colonel Sahib Shandi Gul Sherzad, Professor Hidayatullah Wataniar, Dr. Ashfaq Kakar, and Dr. Yahya Wardag delivered insightful speeches addressing pertinent issues concerning the Pashtun-Afghan community.
Additionally, Mr. Kabir Jan Amiri, an acclaimed artistic voice of PTM, captivated the audience with soulful renditions of national and patriotic songs, accompanied by spirited Afghan national dances.
The leadership of PTM Germany extends heartfelt gratitude to all Afghan Pashtuns who graced this historic occasion, expressing hope for continued support in the future endeavors of PTM. Moving forward, PTM Germany pledges not only to organize protests but also to celebrate Afghan national days, honor national heroes, and commemorate cultural events. Plans are underway to expand PTM Germany’s outreach to every city and village across Germany.
